Dear Potential Vendor,
Thank you so much for your interest in participating in the 2007 Historic Downtown Littleton Farmers Market.
The Historic Downtown Littleton Farmers Market (HDLFM) is pleased to invite you to join us for our 2007 season. Following the success of our first year market we are expanding our season length, beginning June 16th and continuing through September 29th.
HDLFM is a Colorado Proud, European style market focusing on organic and natural produce, Western Slope fruit, and specialty foods and products “sown and raised” in Colorado. The market is operated by the Historic Downtown Merchants Association (HDLM), a non-profit organization. HDLM’s primary goal in hosting this market is to provide fresh picked produce and specialty foods to the community, support our Colorado farmers, and attract more visitors to the downtown area.
We contribute our market’s exceptional success to:
●Strong support from the City of Littleton, Historic Downtown Littleton merchants, volunteers, and the community including monetary sponsorship by Colorado Business Bank, the Downtowner Magazine and many others,
●A great location in the heart of Historic Downtown Littleton with a street closure at the north corner of West Main and Nevada Streets within walking distance to the RTD light rail station and ample parking close to the market,
●Flat rate booth fees with no percentage of gross sales charged to vendors and no city sales tax on grocery food items,
●Supporting a great variety of high-quality vendors including organic, natural and conventional produce, and specialty products from Colorado producers
●A well planned marketing strategy that includes newspaper ads, magazine coverage, web sites, signage, printed materials, and calendar inclusions
●Metro class retail shops, a variety of restaurants and pubs, artisan shops and galleries that bring in high visitor traffic, especially on Saturdays
●Market amenities that include live music, a hospitality booth, a kid’s tent with special activities, and non-profit booths
●Gourmet cooking demonstrations by acclaimed Head Chef Michael Long of Opus Restaurant
●Special summer events including Western Welcome Week, a monthly Art Walk with arts, crafts, and family activities, a Cultural Fest Weekend, and other events and festivals throughout the summer that increase visitor numbers to Historic Downtown Littleton

●A fun and invigorating atmosphere that attracts an affluent demographic
●Our market supports the highest quality organic/natural produce, specialty foods and products from Colorado growers and producers that set it apart from other farmer’s markets.
The vendor selection process will be on a first come basis for qualifying vendors and will be sensitive to limiting the duplicity of products. Our goal is to provide you the best opportunity possible for a successful summer of marketing and selling.
Thank you for considering joining our 2007 Historic Downtown Littleton Farmers Market. Please visit www.historicdowntownlittleton.com to learn more about the merchants, ongoing city activities and to sign up for the monthly e-newsletter. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Best regards,
