HISTORIC DOWNTOWN LITTLETON FARMERS MARKET
2007 MARKET RULES AND REGULATIONS
MARKET PARTICIPATION:
A Participant (Vendor/Exhibitor) of The Historic Downtown Littleton Farmers Market (HDLFM) agrees to all the terms of the Market Rules and Regulations and any amendments or revisions thereto. Anyone who fails to comply with the Rules and Regulations may be suspended from the market with no refund of deposit or fees. There will be no refund of deposit or fees after April 30th.
Participants are required to comply with all government regulations and laws that may be in effect for their activities or sales at the HDLFM. Compliance with these various government laws, certifications, and regulations are the responsibility of the Participants.
Participants agree to release and to hold harmless, the directors, officers, agents, employees, and volunteers of the HDLFM, the Historic Downtown Merchants Association (HDLM), and the City of Littleton, from any and all claims related to or arising from such participation in the HDLFM.
TIME AND PLACE:
The HDLFM will open 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM each Saturday from June 16th through September 29th at the north corner of Main Street and Nevada Street in Historic Downtown Littleton.
- Vendors must be completely set up no later than 8:45 AM
- Vendors may not break down before 2:00 PM (unless you have made special arrangements with Penny Cody, Market Manager)
- Nevada Street will be closed to motor traffic from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM. For safety reasons, departures of motor vehicles before closing at 2:00 PM will not be allowed
- You will have the same location each Saturday unless we need to make adjustments for particular situations or events. The Market Manager may move your location at her discretion
- Non-attendance at the market without prior notification to, or approval of, the Market Manager may be subject to a $50 fine per incident. All cancellations must be submitted no later than one week in advance, verbally, or in writing, to the Market Manager. Except in approved emergency situations, Participants are expected to find someone to man their booth if they are unable to attend a particular market date. Recurring abstinence may result in termination from the market with no refund of deposit or booth fees.
BOOTH/DISPLAYS:
- Vendors must supply their own merchandise display, including tents, tables, chairs, etc. It is important for the market and your sales success to look as attractive and appealing as possible
- For safety and liability reasons, all booths must be secured down with sand, 40# minimum or water filled containers or other tie-downs to attach to your tent in case of high wind. Please make your method as safe and attractive as possible
- Vendors MUST sweep and clean their booth space before leaving
- Please limit your merchandise display to the confines of your booth. Sidewalk/sandwich signs must be halfway in the booth or located so as to not interfere with foot traffic or access/visibility to other booths.
- Any concerns should be directed to the Market Manager

- Clean-up supplies, including broom
- Calculator and tax charts
- Sun screen
